Dental Assistant Job Description

Located in the heart of Bucktown, Bucktown Wicker Park Dental is looking for a Full-time Dental Assistant to join our talented and compassionate team of dental professionals! Our dental practice focuses on providing excellent dental services to the community of Bucktown Wicker Park. The details of the job description are as follows:

Schedule for the Dental Assistant:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Twice a month)

Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:

• 1 year of experience required; 2 years minimum preferred
• Preparing patients for dental procedures
• Help with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies
• Recording treatment information in patient records

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
